From Passion to Performance: The Prodigy FC Journey

Our Story

Founded in Northwest Arkansas in 2017, Prodigy FC was built on a simple belief: players develop best when passion is matched with effort and structure. Under the leadership of Director of Coaching Doug Estrada, the club launched with a single 2003 Boys team and a commitment to doing things the right way.

That commitment quickly set Prodigy FC apart. In the summer of 2018, the club’s U16 team traveled 4,660 miles to compete in the Gothia Cup in Gothenburg, Sweden—one of the world’s premier youth soccer tournaments. Competing against 195 teams from 39 countries, Prodigy FC finished 17th overall in its age group, gaining invaluable experience against top international competition.

Since then, the club has grown steadily, adding boys’ and girls’ teams each year while maintaining a clear focus on intentional development. Growth has never been about numbers alone—it has been about creating environments that challenge players, demand accountability, and support long-term progress.

Today, Prodigy FC competes in both US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer, participating in leagues such as the Arkansas Competitive Soccer League and the Oklahoma Premier Soccer League. Each team’s competitive pathway is selected with purpose to ensure the right balance of development and challenge.
