Bentonville Prodigy FC was established in Northwest Arkansas as a premier competitive soccer club in 2017 with the Director of Coaching Doug Estrada and a 2003 Boys team. After a productive first season, our U16 team traveled 4,660 miles from Bentonville to compete in the Gothia Cup in Gothenberg, Sweden in the summer of 2018. There were 195 teams from 39 countries competing in Prodigy's age group. After 12 days in Sweden, the team finished in 17th place overall in their age group.
In the fall of 2018, Prodigy added four more soccer teams to the club. The teams added were 2005 Boys, 2006 Girls, 2007 Boys Gold, and 2007 Boys Black. The spring season of 2019 brought exciting additions as 2006 and 2008 Boys teams were added to the soccer club. Prodigy's growth continues today, as additional teams are added yearly.
Our teams compete in both US Club Soccer and US Youth Soccer. Each team determines what leagues to participate in each season. These leagues include Heartland League in Kansas City, Arkansas Competitive Soccer League, and the Oklahoma Competitive Premier League.
